Electrification in agriculture is advancing. Nowadays, milking is done by machines, cooling systems run around the clock, and even the first electrically powered agricultural machines are making their way onto farms. This drives up the demand for electricity. With electricity costs rising at the same time, it is increasingly worthwhile to generate the energy oneself.
Farms are switching to renewables
That is why farmers are increasingly interested in photovoltaics. Our current special on self-consumption in agriculture uses practical examples to show what farmers expect from the solar industry in order to convert their farms to renewable energies and to make themselves independent of rising electricity costs - also with stationary and mobile storage systems.
